Why Travel by Car - The benefits of traveling by car
The vast majority of people do not want to drive a car for several hours to get to certain place, deal with maps and road planning and possibly even get lost in some foreign country when they can leave all traveling details over to a travel agency and simply enjoy earned vacations. Traveling by car can be exhausting even if not driving on one own especially if traveling far. One can get lost, a car might breakdown in the middle of the trip or be stolen, etc. There are many things that can go wrong if traveling by car over which one does not need to worry if traveling by bus, train, plane or ship. If you worry that something can go wrong and if you are afraid of driving in a foreign country you probably should not choose traveling by car. After all, the main purpose of traveling is to let all the worries aside and enjoy your "time off".
So why to bother when you can leave all less pleasant things of traveling to other people? Traveling by car has many benefits besides for greater freedom which are worth to consider. It often requires a lot of planning to be able to take advantage of time you have for traveling and while making plans you may discover that there is a lot more to see than you previously thought. You can make an unique trip plan and since you are more mobile if traveling by car you can also see and experience more than you would if traveling by other mean of transportation. You do need to make any compromises with other people except with those who are traveling with you, waiting the bus or train to arrive or loose you precious time for other meaningless things. If you are more of an individualist and if your trust in your driving abilities and that your car is fit for the trip you are a perfect candidate for traveling by car.
